Instructional League (7 & 8 year old)
Instructional League is a developmental division for children interested in baseball that have completed at least one year of T-Ball. Coaches focus on throwing, fielding, and hitting fundamentals. A "no-walk" system is used during games. In this system, coaches will enter the game after a called ball 4, and will pitch 5 pitches to the batter. A 40-ft baseball diamond is used for this league. The season is comprised of internal league games capped off with a handful of postseason tournaments against teams from neighboring towns. The main goal of this league is to create a fun learning environment for boys to develop into ballplayers and teammates.
Minor Division (9 & 10 Year Old)
Minor League builds off of the fundamentals developed during Instructional League with a greater emphasis on pitching and catching. A 60-ft diamond is used in this league. The season is comprised of both internal league games as well as games against teams from neighboring towns. The postseason is reserved for District 20 All Stars for this 9-10 age group. Although this division operates with increased competitiveness, there is still a focus on personal development and encouragement.
Major Division (11 & 12 Year Old)
In the Majors division, skills developed in earlier leagues are further reinforced with some advanced techniques being introduced. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Additionally, new rules are introduced such as stealing (lead offs are prohibited) and the "dropped 3rd Strike" rule. The season is comprised of both internal league games as well as games against teams from neighboring towns. The postseason is reserved for District 20 All Stars for this 11-12 age group.
Junior Division (13 & 14 Year Old)
The Juniors division is reserved for children ages 13-14 years old. This division introduces new rules to the players such as pick offs and balks. A conventional 90-foot diamond is used with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. The season is comprised of both internal league games as well as games against teams from neighboring towns. The postseason is reserved for District 20 All Stars for this 13-14 age group.
Senior Division (15 & 16 Year Old)
This league is a program for children ages 15-16 years old. This league includes the full spectrum of rules and is played on a conventional 90 foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Senior teams compete against each other with the postseason being reserved for District 20 All Stars and the Central Region Tournament for this 15-16 age group.
